Course DSD Hot - October 2012

Florence, October 13-14, 2012

The course is the third part of the DIGITAL SMILE DESIGN series of courses.

It is exclusively practical and is reserved to those participants who have already attended the DSD Concept course.

Each participant could perform the whole DSD sequence, on his/her own patient, with Andrea's support.

The course is limited to 12 dentists and 6 dental technicians.

9:00 am - 10:30 am Camera and video calibrations

10:30 am - 1:00 pm Photographic exam and patient interview
1:00 pm - 2:25 pm Light lunch

2:25 pm - 2:30 pm Group picture

2:30 pm - 6:30 pm Practice DSD protocol on each own computer

8:00 pm ... dinner all together at "Garga"

* Coffee Breaks will be served in the morning and in the afternoon and are included in the registration fee as well as the light lunchs.

- Camera, flashes, batteries, charger
- USB cable for camera connection or card reader

- Videocamera, charger (optional)
- Tripod (optional)

- Periodontal probe
- Explorers
- Mirrors
- Slow Speed Handpiece (blu) with Kavo connection

- High Speed Handpiece (red) with Kavo connection

- Intruments for wax-Up
- Waxing instrument (if possible)
- Instruments for intraoral mock-up adjustments (burs, discs)

- Black Marker (thin)
- Pencil
- Mirrors for intraoral photos
- Lip retractors
- Black backgrounds (optional)
- Alginate impression trays (different sizes)
- Blades (and handles) for cutting silicon indexes

All disposable materials and impression materials will be given on-site.

The registration include all coffee breaks and 2 light lunches

Dental Technicians are eligible for a 35% discount on the registration fee

for the moment, the are required to register utilizing as method of payment, the bank wire transfer.

SPEAKERS

Dr. Andrea Ricci

Dr. Andrea Ricci graduates from University of Perugia in 1996.

After a three years training program he achieved the Certificate in Advanced Prosthodontics at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles.

Since 1999 he limits his practice to prosthodontics, periodontology and implant dentistry with special emphasis to the aesthetic areas.

His office in one the Leading Dental Centers of the World.

He is the Scientific Director of IDEAT (Institute of Dental Education and Therapy).

He is an Active Member of the European Academy of Esthetic Dentistry (EAED), Active Member of the Italian Academy of Esthetic Dentistry (IAED), Active Member of the Italian College of Prosthodontics (ICP) and an Associate Member of the American Academy of Restorative Dentistry (AARD).
